Our story
Every great story needs a hero. Yours has been sleeping at the foot of your bed.

The problem
Our pets are family. They're there for the birthdays, the bad days, the Christmas mornings and the long quiet evenings.
But look at what we keep of them: a few thousand photos on a phone. Blurry ones, sideways ones, ones we never look at again. Somewhere in a camera roll is the whole life of someone we love.
We wanted something better. Something you can hold. Something that sits on the table and starts a conversation. Something you'd pass down.
Where the idea came from
Some of the oldest stories in the world star animals.
About 2,600 years ago, in ancient Greece, a storyteller named Aesop taught people how to live through short tales of foxes, tortoises and hares. Long before that and long after, every tradition told its great stories with animals close by: the ox and the donkey in the stable, the dove returning to the ark, the sheep on the hillside who know their shepherd's voice.
The stories have lasted thousands of years. The animals in them have always been someone's.
So we asked a simple question: what if the animal in the story was yours?
What we make
Fable Editions are keepsake books that place your pet inside the world's great stories.
Each book is made from your photos, so it's your pet on every page: their face, their ears, their colors. The words are the original stories, set with care. And every book is designed like a gallery book, with quiet pages, beautiful type and room to breathe, so it belongs on the coffee table, not the toy box.
Each one is made for a single pet. No two Fable Editions are the same.
How we make it
- IYou share a few photos. Right after you order, you upload three to five pictures and tell us your pet’s name.
- IIYou see your pet first. In a couple of minutes, your pet appears in our signature style. If something isn’t right, ask for a remake and tell us what to change.
- IIIWe print it for you. Once you love it, your book is printed and bound to order and shipped free.
How we treat the stories
- The text is used word for word, from the World English Bible, a public domain translation.
- Pets are shown as pets. They never play a holy figure.
- People in the illustrations are shown only from behind.
